All ancient fossilized mammoth tooth and tusk materials used as handle scales on our knives are 100% ethically sourced from naturally extinct species. These materials are millions of years old and were not taken from living animals.
No animals were harmed in the creation of our products.
Under U.S. federal law, mammoth ivory and fossilized mammoth materials are generally legal to own, sell, and use because mammoths have been extinct for millennia and are not protected under modern endangered species laws.

However, certain state-level regulations restrict, prohibit, or regulate the trade and sale of fossil ivory (including mammoth tusk and teeth), regardless of its federally legal status. These regulations vary by state and may impact where and how products containing fossil mammoth material can be offered, sold, or shipped.
